Photon 4G – Motorola, Sprint
Pre-installed with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the Photon 4G smartphone comes with a 4.3-inch qHD display (960×540), a 1 GHz dual-core CPU, 1 GB of RAM (well, that`s quite impressive) and 16 GB of storage memory (expandable to a maximum of 48 GB via a 32 GB SD memory card). The latest version of Blur is also present – though it`s really arguable to say whether that`s a good thing or not. Additional details of the Motorola Sprint Photon 4G are the multitouch display, metal kickstand, HDMI-output support.
The Motorola Sprint Photon 4G smartphone is considered as the third 4G device for Motorola, after Atrix and Droid Bionic. However, as you may know, many do not actually consider Atrix as a 4G device (some called it a 3.5G as it only supports HSPA+) and the Droid Bionic has yet to come out (we have to wait summer 2011 now). So, let`s just say that the Motorola Sprint Photon 4G is the first 4G device.
