Corsair Hydro Series™ H70 High Performance Dual-Fan Liquid CPU Cooler
Corsair Hydro Series™ H70 High Performance Dual-Fan Liquid CPU Cooler
Being an improved version of the excellent Hydro Series H50, the Corsair Hydro Series™ H70 High Performance Dual-Fan Liquid CPU Cooler brings great improvements in the design of the cooling system.
With a low profile pump and an improved cold plate, the Corsair Hydro Series™ H70 High Performance Dual-Fan Liquid CPU Cooler can be more easily mounted on all the modern desktop AMD and Intel® processors. A higher performance radiator is also present in the Corsair Hydro Series™ H70 High Performance Dual-Fan Liquid CPU Cooler which provides more room for the liquid to cool before it goes to the cold plate again.
Now, if that does not seem enough for you. The Corsair Hydro Series™ H70 High Performance Dual-Fan Liquid CPU Cooler also comes with 2 high-performance 120mm fans, which is especially optimized to push and pull, allowing a maximum amount of airflow into the radiator.
Here are some of the main features of the Corsair Hydro Series™ H70 High Performance Dual-Fan Liquid CPU Cooler:-
- Pre-filled, closed-loop system is easy to install
- Copper CPU cooling plate for maximum cooling performance
- Integrated pump and reservoir is sealed for zero maintenance and improved leakage protection
- Large, double-thick 120mm radiator for outstanding heat dissipation
- High-performance, twin 120mm fans offer outrageous airflow in push-pull configuration
- Included step-down adapters let you customize your fan speed for low noise or high performance
- Cold Plate Material: Copper
- Fan Specification: 120mm (x2), selectable 2000 RPM or 1600 RPM
- Socket Support: AMD AM2, AMD AM3, Intel LGA 1155, Intel LGA 1156, Intel LGA 1366, Intel LGA 775
- Radiator Material: Aluminum
- Tubing: Low-permeability for near-zero evaporation
A test performance was once performed in the Corsair Lab and it showed greater cooling performance over the H50 in an extreme overclocking scenario. Using a test system built in the Corsair Obsidian Series 800D with a Core i7 920 processor overclocked to 3.8GHz (20 x 190 MHz, 1.34Vcore), Asus Rampage III Extreme motherboard, with the default fans configured as an intake on the rear 120mm fan location. This was the test result:-
Now, that`s not all. Check out how Jake Crimmins from the Corsair blog modified the Corsair Hydro Series™ H70 High Performance Dual-Fan Liquid CPU Cooler to mount it on a NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 480 and see how amazing the results were.
